The StatusHub and Slack integration allows you to improve collaboration and reduce MTTR with real-time messaging and simplified communication for your team. When an incident, maintenance event or platform alert is created in StatusHub a message instantly appears in your selected Slack channel. Getting all notifications in an accessible single place for messaging help everyone save time and collaborate together.

Technical Overview of Slack Integration with StatusHub

The integration works with “Incoming WebHooks” Slack app.

There are 2 different forms of notifications. “Compact message” contains:

  • Hub name

  • Incident name

  • Incident body (description)

  • Regular notification will provide detailed info, including:

  • Hub name

  • Incident name

  • Incident body (description)

  • Time of incident update

  • Incident start time

  • Elapsed time

  • Incident status

  • Incident title

  • Incident update information

  • Group

  • Service status
